I have a yellowish bump in the conjunctiva and redness around it. What do you suggest?

There is a yellowish bump on the conjunctiva, near my cornea in the left eye. After waking, both eyes are red, especially around the bump. Also, it seems that in both my eyes, towards the nose a brown margin emerges from the limbus. What treatment do you recommend for that?

Why did the eye protrude out of socket in a thyroid patient?
Hello doctor,
My mother is 51 years old and she had thyroid sometime in the past. There are no signs of it from the last one year. However, she has these bulging eyes all the time, but she can perfectly see everything with her spectacles. I do not really know what happened to her the other day. She was watching her favorite TV show and all of sudden, her right eye popped out of her eye socket and she started shouting. It was such a scary and frightening situation where I and my dad did not know what to do and out of nowhere, my dad suddenly pushed her eye with a little pressure and the eye was back in its position as usual. My mom experienced severe pain after this incident when she was rushed to an Ophthalmologist. The doctor had no clue about the reason for her eye pop out. However, I advised her to go through a few medical tests and the results are yet to come. Meantime, I just want to understand why this happened to her and will this happen regularly and what is the treatment needed to prevent this from happening again. I just do not want to think of any situation where she is alone in the home and the same happens to her. I just want her to be completely cured from this one. Please help me with my query.

Does my 5-year-old son need to wear glasses all the time and throughout life for astigmatism?

My son is 5-years-old. We had an annual eye checkup, and he was diagnosed to have astigmatism in his eyes. My concerns are: Does he need to wear glasses all the time and throughout life? Can it ever fix or cure? If he does not wear eyeglasses, will it go worse, or will it stay like this? Does it help by any medication or only laser surgery? If a laser is the only treatment, at what age should we think about it? Thanks.

What can cause dry and blurry eyes that also feel scratchy?
Hi doctor,
I had an eye infection and used Neomycin and Polymoxin-B ointment for my eyes. The infection cleared up. And ever since I stopped the ointment two days ago, my eyes are so dry. They feel so scratchy like there is sand in them. I cannot wear my contacts. And my vision is blurry with my glasses on. Any suggestions? I am already using over-the-counter drops or tears. I have taken a lot of anti-anxiety medication but never had this problem this bad before.
