Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 25-year-old male weighing 123 pounds. I am having pain in the lower abdomen on the left side and got blood in my stool sometimes. A lot of gas builds in the stomach, which causes headaches twice or thrice a week. I have been facing this for the last three years, and I have checked it with multiple doctors, but still, the problem persists.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have reviewed your query, and here is my suggestion. The blood in the stool with abdominal pain warrants further investigation. It can be from colitis like lower intestine infection or some mass in the colon. I would like to suggest you investigate with following investigations: Stool routine micro examination, occult blood test, Colonoscopy. Until then, I suggest you can use Ciprofloxacin and Metronidazole course for seven days. You can consult a gastroenterologist for a physical examination. You can attach your reports to guide you further. I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
