Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am suffering from severe allergy. I tried different medicines for this, but everything was useless.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Depending on the severity and type of allergic reaction, the treatment is given.
For mild allergic inflammation with high AEC (absolute eosinophil count), the Fexofenadine and Montelukast combination drug is given. And if the allergic inflammation is very severe, then a short-term steroid course can be given.
But the management depends on symptoms and the type of allergy. If it is an asthma attack, then bronchodilator nebulization may also be needed.
So, to comment more, I need more information.
I hope this helps.
Take care.
