Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have nausea, dizziness, and frequent urination after having intercourse for nine days. Also, I had my last menstruation during the first week of this month. Are these symptoms of being pregnant?

Answered by Dr. Pandian. P

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

From your history, I suppose it is honeymoon cystitis due to an infection of the urinary tract. Chances of being pregnant are also there because your days of intercourse fall on ovulation time.

However, considering it as honeymoon cystitis, I suggest taking antibiotics, analgesics, and antihistamines, douching the vagina with an antiseptic solution for three days, and antiemetics. But please consult a specialist, discuss with them and start taking the medications with their consent.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
