Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 69-year-old male and I have been experiencing abdominal pain, swollen red feet and legs, photosensitivity, stiff hands, and stiffness. I have undergone ANA test, which comes Positive (but no other positive antibody results). Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. The presence of a positive ANA (antinuclear antibody) test can be observed in various autoimmune diseases. Considering your symptoms, it appears that you might be experiencing Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). However, a conclusive diagnosis necessitates further investigation. Could you kindly upload all your blood reports? This would enable me to offer advice on any additional tests that might have been overlooked. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
