Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a first-year student and have been bleeding during my bowel movement for the past 45 days. I have stomach pain, vomiting, and fever sometimes. I have itching after every meal. I cannot find any other symptoms and am not under any medication. Years before, I had an ulcer problem. Now, what should I do? I am so scared about it. Is it a severe problem? Is this curable?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Bleeding during passing stools is usually present in anal fissures or hemorrhoids. Try to avoid spicy food and take fiber-rich food to prevent constipation.

I suggest,

  • Tablet Pan-40 (Pantoprazole), in the morning and night before food.
  • Syrup Cremaffin (Liquid Paraffin and Milk of Magnesia) - 10ml at night.
  • Apply Proctosedyl (Hydrocortisone and Cinchocaine) ointment for external use for ten days and review.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
