Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have pain in my anus with difficulty in passing stools. I have a huge amount of blood loss.
Kindly help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
First of all, try to reduce your weight. Most of the time, obesity causes problems. Bleeding while passing stools can occur secondary to anal fissure, hemorrhoids, and rectal ulcer due to difficult defecation. I need to know more about your symptoms for better clarification and to confirm the diagnosis. Please mention the amount of blood lost daily. Please mention whether blood forms a streak over the sides of the poop. Please mention whether you have pain while passing stools. Please mention whether you have pain or a burning sensation after an hour of opening your bowel. Please mention whether you have constipation and please mention the number of stools passed in a week.
Please answer these questions to reach a proper diagnosis. You can have a possibility of having anal fissure. I suggest you apply Diltiazem gel 2% over the bottom with your fingers three times daily. Start taking Isabgol husk two tablespoons in a glass of water daily even with or without having constipation. Take atleast two to three liters of water daily. Reduce your weight by having brisk walking 150 minutes a week and reduce your calorie intake.
I hope this clarifies your concerns.
Please feel free to reach out anytime if you need further assistance.
Thank you.
