How to manage ASPD?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I thought that I may have anti-social personality disorder behavior. I know that I seem to be different from others. But I do not know the term to describe my state until I read about it.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It is fine to have ASPD (antisocial personality disorder). There is nothing wrong with it. It is a type of nature and you need to accept it. You need to take proper care of it. You should keep control of your anger outburst and substance abuse. You should follow some lifestyle changes to be healthy. You should do exercise daily for 30 to 45 minutes. You should do meditation for twenty minutes daily. Sit in a comfortable position and concentrate on your normal breathing. Do not stop or force yourself to stop your thoughts.

Leave it as such. It will help you to be relaxed. You should take healthy home-cooked foods and avoid eating junk foods. You must drink enough water. You must spend quality time with friends and family. Do video calls if you are staying away from your family. You should spend time on your creative hobbies like reading books, writing journals, drawing, learning new skills or language or musical instruments You should take enough sleep for seven to eight hours a day. You must avoid using tobacco or alcohol or any substance abuse. Live your life and do not waste it. Be bold and confident.
