Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had a dull intermittent stinging pain in the lower right side of my stomach. I have had it for more than two weeks now. I am worried about appendicitis, kidney or ureter or bladder stone, hernia, abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
There is no hernia (attachment removed to protect patient identity). However, there is a tiny appendicolith within the lumen of the appendix and the appendix is dilated approximately 10 mm in diameter. This could be due to subtle appendicitis. No evidence or renal or ureteric or vesical calculus disease seen. Rest of the solid organs appear normal.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
I will be waiting for your report. I am not sure if you could see from the CR if there is any hernia or is it difficult to diagnose a hernia from a CT scan?
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
There was no hernia on the given CT images.
