Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
A stent is placed on my nephew's penis to aid urination. He has stomach pain. He did a CT scan and took a tablet Dexona. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
From the reports attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), your nephew's condition indicates tuberculosis of the intestine. I suggest to take a colonoscopy and biopsy for confirmatory diagnosis and treatment.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor for the reply,
The doctor asked my 8-year-old nephew to take rest and suggested a surgery after two months for removing the pus from stomach due to appendix. I have attached new reports. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Consult the doctor for painkillers if he has a fever, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Probable diagnoses include a perforated appendix, typhoid perforation, Crohn's disease, or tuberculosis. Biopsy and colonoscopy are necessary for confirmatory diagnosis. Do not delay his surgery.
