Hello doctor,
My daughter is nine months old. She was exclusively breastfed for six months. We started giving her solid food after six months. I tried giving her different foods, but she was not interested in eating food. Also, I have to give her milk by distracting her because she is not interested in drinking milk.

I understand your concern. Always start with fruits in this age group and then shift to food items like rice. Avoid salt or sugar till one year. If still after doing the above, the child is not feeding appropriately, check the child's weight. If the child's weight is appropriate for the age, you need not worry. However, if the child's weight is extremely low for their age, they will need supplements like drops of Zincovit, syrup Calcimax -P, and Feronia-XT (dose depending on the child's weight).
