Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a dark patch on the nose for more than a year. It came while removing blackheads on the nose with removing rod during facial. The next day it was red on the nose, and after that, it changed to a black mark. I applied Skin lite cream but of no use. Please suggest good ointment to cure it.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Use the following medications for two weeks. Use Cream Flucort (Fluocenalone Acetonide) and Cream Melalite forte 4% (Hydroquinone). At night take a 1:1 ratio of both cream and apply on the pigmented spot only. Avoid too much sun exposure. Stop Flucort after two weeks and review once.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I used both creams as you prescribed. It is gone completely, and I stopped using it after two weeks. But now it started coming again. I can see a dark mark again on my nose. What shall I do now? Please say what would be the reason? Why did it start coming again? I am not exposed to the sun, and I am at home only.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. It needs to be continued, and two weeks is not enough. Continue the combination after two more weeks and continue Melalite forte for one month. Then please review after that.

Patient's Query

ok sir thank u..
Hello Karthiga, I understand your concern but flucort cream being a steroids can't be used for long, it is only used for initial few weeks. Continue using Melalite forte cream at night and add following cream in the morning 1. Melano-Tx cream 2. Photostable gel: also use this gel all over face in the morning after the melano TX and once in the afternoon Take care
