Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 28-year-old unmarried male. I have tiny white spots on the top of the penis and on the outer skin also. I do masturbation regularly. Please suggest any treatment for the removal of white spots.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Such white spots could be pearly penile papules or warts or fungal infection. Without seeing these spots, it is difficult to provide a definitive diagnosis. So please share a photo of the spots so I can make a confirmative diagnosis and suggest treatment.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Please find the attached images and suggest the treatment.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I went through your photos from which I gather either you have developed vitiligo or Pityriasis versicolor. P. versicolor is a type of fungal infection. When such patient presents to my clinic, I do the dermoscopy examination of lesions, but as that is not possible here I need to ask you a few questions. What is the duration of white spots? Since when do you have these spots? Did they appear suddenly or one by one gradually? Are they increasing in number or size? Do you have itching on these spots? Do you have such white spots anywhere else on the body? Please get back with answers to these questions.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have noticed white spots on the outer skin of the penis (shaft of penis) from the last two months and on the top of the penis (foreskin) from the last one week. They are not increasing in number or size and there is no itching on these spots. Such white spots are not on other parts of the body.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It looks like you have vitiligo. Apply Tacrolimus 0.03% cream on white spots daily at night in small quantity for four weeks and tablet Antoxid HC one tablet daily after lunch for one month. Follow up in one month.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
