Hello doctor,
I have a problem of nose block for the past one month and I suspect this as sinus. I have done a CT scan. Please advise on treatment.

You have allergic rhinitis along with a benign nasal polyp which is usually seen in patients with prolonged allergic rhinitis. You have also sinusitis associated with it. Polyps are usually removed surgically. I suggest taking Augmentin (Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid) 625 mg twice daily, Pantoprazole once daily, Montelukast with Levocetirizine once daily. Take all these for five days and it will reduce your symptoms. Symptoms due to polyp can be relieved surgically. Consult an ENT surgeon.
