Hello doctor,
I am a 23-year-old female. I weigh 220 at 5 foot 2 inches. There is bright red blood in my stool, not dark at all and no clots. I have asthma. I am also on Clomid to help me conceive and I just finished a round of it yesterday. The bleeding started yesterday.
Thank you.

Hello doctor,
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Most likely, you have an anal fissure (injury in the anal canal) which cause pain (sometimes very severe) during and after bowel motions. It is a very common condition. If stools are hard, it should be treated with stool softeners.I suggest:
In some cases, the acute anal fissure turns into chronic with long-term symptoms. This condition has no relation to asthma or Clomid you take for conception. Regarding your asthma, is it well controlled? What are the medications you currently take for it? Best wishes.
Thank you.
Hello doctor,
I take a steroid inhaler twice a day and Ventolin as an emergency inhaler.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
The medications you are taking are appropriate for your asthma. You have to use the peak flow meter regularly and write down the readings to judge if everything is under control.
In case you use Ventolin frequently, it means that your medications need an upgrade.
Regarding the Clomid, it is taken in the first five days of the cycle with the dosage ranging from 50 to 150 mg according to the ovulation rate. You can follow up ovulation with the sonography. Also, you have to know that Clomid increases the risk of twins and triplets considerably.
Since when are you using Clomid?
Thank you.
