Will same parental blood group affect the baby's growth?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My wife and I have the same blood group. Presently, my wife is pregnant. What is the problem for the baby's physical body due to this?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The same blood group does not pose any problems. People of the same blood group can marry and produce a normal child. So, as far as the same blood group is concerned, do not worry about that.

I hope this helps.
