Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
For the past several weeks, I have been extremely dizzy and nauseous. I also have blurred vision, pain in both ears, a constant headache, occasional pounding of my heartbeat in my head and ears, and eye pain. My symptoms have gradually become more painful over time.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern.
Let me know your age, family history, and also if you are on any medications. This can help in providing personalized guidance. However, I would suggest you follow these instructions:
Make sure you take a basic, homemade, light, healthy, balanced diet.
Eat more fresh fruits, juices, salads, and soups.
Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Avoid heavy, oily meals for a few days.
Avoid strenuous work, exercise, stress, and strain.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day to maintain hydration.
If you are wearing spectacles, get your eyesight rechecked, as blurred vision and headaches can sometimes worsen due to eye strain or incorrect power.
If it is winter in your city, make sure you are taking proper care to keep yourself covered. Avoid exposure to cold winds. Sipping warm water, milk, or tea may help relieve some discomfort.
Was there any history of a fall, head injury, sinus issues, migraine, or ear infection in the recent past? Consult a doctor and get physically examined properly, especially since your symptoms have been increasing gradually. A detailed examination of your ears, eyes, blood pressure, and nervous system may also be needed.
If you are unable to sleep properly at night, follow these measures:
Eat food at least two hours before sleep.
Sleep straight and do not place your arm under your head. Use a low cotton pillow.
Drink two glasses of water in the morning after waking up.
You may start with a combination tablet of Omeprazole and Domperidone 40 milligrams once daily on an empty stomach in the morning. Other medications can be prescribed after proper examination and investigations.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.
Thank you.
