Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

One week back, I started to get a light glint in my right eye. It seems as though my sight is blurred in this eye and it is quite exhausting dealing with it. I had a significant sinus discharge the day before and on the opposite side the days before this started and now have this tiny blurring for a week.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

By going through your query, I could understand that you are experiencing flashes of light and blurring of vision. Most of the patients visiting our clinic with a single episode of flashes do not have any abnormality, although we advise them to undergo a detailed retinal examination as soon as possible to rule out retinal detachment. Kindly let me know if the blurring of vision is gradual or sudden and also associated with any pain around the eye, watering, or redness of the eye. Are you using any glasses, do you experience any headaches? Are you experiencing black spots in the eye or experiencing a sudden drop of vision like a curtain falling down in front of your eye? Better to get a retinal examination done right away. If blurring of vision is transient, and if you are experiencing any dryness of your eyes, it is treatable with eye drops.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
