Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My breast ultrasound came back with stromal distortion noted in my right breast. What does it mean? Will it lead to breast cancer?

Answered by Dr. Pandian. P

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The distortion in breast stroma is mostly due to previous surgery or biopsy. It does not imply breast cancer. Now we cannot predict any cancer. But the regular follow-up is mandatory.

1. Have you undergone any surgery?

2. Is any of your family members or close relatives affected by breast cancer?

3. Have you breastfed your children?

Kindly give full details to help you more.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
