Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My gums are feeling sore. I have a phobia of dentists, and I have a very bad plaque on the bottom of my back teeth. Previously I have had fillings on the back of my teeth. Now I can feel a part is about to fall, and I am scared that I may lose my teeth. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You do not need to be worried or scared about seeing dentists. Like any other doctor, they treat people for their good health and good lifestyle. Your teeth are really in bad condition. This is not a plaque; it is calculus. It is a hard deposit of plaque and food material that unfortunately causes serious tooth problems. You are young and have a good chance to get this removed. A scaler is used to remove the calculus from the tooth. Your tooth will not be damaged, and you will not feel any pain. A scaler is used just like brushing teeth. Wish you good health and happiness. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
