Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 21year old boy. I suffer a lot from canker sore (mouth ulcer). I have tried all home remedies and over the counter medicines without much success. Kindly help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
- The exact cause of most of the canker sores (mouth ulcers) is unknown.
- Stress is thought to be a major cause.
You may try the following treatment:
- Take tablet B complex or Neurobion forte (vitamin B12) one tablet daily for 7 days.
- Take tablet Folvite 5mg once daily for 7 days.
- Take capsule Darolac one capsule daily two times a day for 7 days.
- Orasore ointment for local application on the mouth ulcer.
- All medications to be taken after breakfast or meal.
- Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day.
- Have good sleep for 7 hours in the night.
- Take less stress, do meditation and yoga.
