Hi doctor,

I underwent gallbladder surgery before 16 days. There is an white discharge and pain in the incised area. Should I be concerned about the infection?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

According to your symptoms, it is cellulitis.

1. Clean the skin with Hydrogen Peroxide.

2. Apply Betadine cream over the affected area.

3. Use a sterile bandage.

4. Eat capsule Clavam (Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid) 625 mg twice daily for five days.

Do follow-ups daily in the evenings for five days.
