Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I would like to ask a few doubts regarding my chronic lower back pain. I visited an orthopedic doctor today and had lumbosacral X-rays done. He told me from what he had seen in the films that I had an inflamed spinal ligament. I could not rely much on his diagnosis because I did not even have a written report of my X-rays. I wish to send the image of my X-rays for a proper diagnosis. Can I send them?

Please reply.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern. You have mentioned that you have pain in your lower back region for which you have got an X-ray done. Since X-rays are predominantly taken for bony pathology, ligaments are not visible on them. But you can send your X-ray reports so that I can see them. And also kindly brief me about your complaints so that I can correlate them and let you know what needs to be done. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have further queries.

Thank you.
