Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been suffering from piles and flatulence problems for the last ten days due to taking excessive medication for typhoid fever and thyroiditis for the last month. I was hospitalized for ten days. Due to this, I am suffering from piles and rectal pain. Usually, there is inflammation the night after dinner, and it is very hard to pass out stool. Six years ago, I had the same issue and I became fine after receiving injectable treatment. Currently, I am taking Pilex capsule and Smuth and Hadensa ointment, but I have no relief.
Kindly advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Take a regular diet and high fiber-rich food to avoid constipation. I suggest you consult a specialist and take the following medications with their consent. Syrup Cremaffin two teaspoons (Liquid Paraffin and Milk of Magnesia) at night, Proctosedyl ointment (Phenylephrine, Beclometasone, and Lidocaine) for external use twice daily for ten days. If it pains too much, use Lidocaine cream around the anus. Better go for surgery.
