Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

The symptoms you provided are typical findings of this season.

If you have a productive cough that is yellowish or greenish, it indicates a bacterial infection of the respiratory tract. It could be a case of bronchitis, and Levofloxacin should work.

Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and with their consent, take the medicines.

If not, you could get a culture and sensitivity test of the sputum and switch to another antibiotic according to the report.

However, if you have a dry cough, no fever or purulent sputum, it could also be a post-infectious cough or a cough associated with postnasal drip.

Also, if you smoke, it can make your cough worse.

If your symptoms do not resolve with medication, you should get a chest X-ray done.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
