What are the treatment options available to cure the bending of the penis during erection?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My penis bends downwards during erections, and the foreskin is tight and accumulates in a ring shape when brought back. The erections are not frequent, and it does not last long. I used to masturbate a lot. Is this because of excessive masturbation? Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Bending of penis during erections can be due to a short frenulum, phimosis (tight foreskin), or Peyronie's disease (a scar inside the penis muscle). I suggest you share the pictures of an erect penis to assist you further.

Thank you.
