Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I did not get my period the last month. I had protected sex many times with my boyfriend but always with a condom and it never broke. It was always protected sex. It is the 11th today and still no periods. I am worried. Could I be pregnant? I was under medication for colitis and under stress this month. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your post.

  1. Your expected date of periods was few days ago as per your past dates. However, as you said you were under stress and received meds for infection this month, both can either prepone or postpone the periods.
  2. I would suggest you do a pregnancy test five days later if you do not get your periods till then because, at this point, nothing can be done.
  3. We can only wait and watch for at least five days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
