Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My daughter is seven years old. She has a decayed tooth in the upper right side of her mouth. She used to brush her teeth twice daily, but I can see some deposits on her teeth even after brushing twice. My concerns are:
Kindly suggest.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I suggest you consult a dentist and take an X-ray. If the cavity is not deep, filing can be done. If it is a large cavity, pulpectomy or extraction is required. The probable diagnosis is dental caries.
I also suggest you follow the following instructions to maintain your daughter's oral hygiene. Use a little amount of toothpaste and advise her to brush all sides of the tooth in a circular motion or brush from the gums to the teeth in a slanting position.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
