Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Please be calm.

See though they are defects, they seem to be rampant caries (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) that are progressing.

I suggest you, whenever you feel free, get an X-ray of the teeth to see if there is any internal damage or not.

The first tooth has caries on the margin only, while the other involves almost 50 percent of the tooth.

The treatment involves restorations (glass ionomer restoration) and crowns (stainless steel) if the lesion is deep (after X-ray only).

Also, reduce the sticky sugar diet and rest up to 50 percent to prevent further progression.

The Probable causes

Infection.

Investigations to be done

X-ray later.

Differential diagnosis

Rampant caries (chief complaint).

Probable diagnosis

Rampant caries (chief complaint).

Treatment plan

Restoration and crowns.

Preventive measures

Sticky sugar restrictions and non sticky to 50 percent for 15 to 21 days.

Regarding follow up

Please go by instructions and update me if problem is not relieved. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
