Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

How many motions are you having in a day, and for how many days? It is likely to be enteritis.

Most importantly, have ORS (oral rehydration solution) 100 to 200 ml with each stool and keep yourself rehydrated. Drink as much liquid as possible. You should also visit a hospital to assess your hydration status and whether you need IV fluids.

You should get prescribed a capsule Vizylac or Sporulac sachet three times a day for five days, tablet Norflox TZ (Norfloxacin and Tinidazole) two times a day, along with some antacid like tablet Pantoprazole, before breakfast once a day for five days. If stool frequency is too high, we can also start some medicines to reduce stool frequency.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Please let me know the details of the problem, since when, how many times, and since when she having these medications. Is there any weight loss or not? Is there any history of intermittent constipation?

Usually, these medications take two to three days to act. He should also get a prescribed tablet, Racecadotril 100 mg, whenever needed up to three times a day to reduce stool frequency and quantity up to a maximum of seven days. If it is a long duration, loose motions for a month or more, then it is an altogether different problem and needs evaluation.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
