Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am five months pregnant. I am taking one glass of drumstick leaf soup daily. My neighbors tell me it will reduce the amniotic fluid. So, I am confused. Please give me a good suggestion.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I understand your concern.

You can comfortably have anything to improve your health. It can never affect the baby. It is a myth that the fluid around the baby will reduce. If the baby's blood flow is normal, the blood flow to the baby's kidney will be normal, and the baby will pass a good amount of urine. So, the amount of amniotic fluid around the baby will also be normal. Having some natural food can never affect the baby or the fluid. You can have it peacefully. Your baby will be absolutely fine.

Hope I have clarified your query. Do write back if you have any more queries. All the best.
