Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have got extremely dry skin in the inner ankle, which has become hard. I am using vaseline daily to keep it soft, and it does not scratch regularly.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. It looks like you have eczema. Most of the cases do not have any external cause, but few people tend to develop dry skin and eczema. However, leaving it dry can worsen the condition. I suggest you use the following medications for two weeks. Use Tenovate (Clobetasol) cream and Cetaphil (Moisturizer) cream. Apply both twice a day, mixing 2:1 ratio (two-part Tenovate with one-part Cetaphil). Take Tablet Bilast (Bilastine) - 20 mg once a day. Revert after two weeks. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
