Patient's Query

Hi,

My friend has recently been infected by the Ebola virus, and I am afraid about it. His parents said he had not been having his meals properly for a month, with fever, sore throat, body pain, etc. I also came across similar symptoms, and I am afraid. But I have been vaccinated against Ebola. Are there any chances of acquiring Ebola even if I am vaccinated? I am 35-year-old, and I have taken Paracetamol for fever for the past two days.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It is unlikely to get the infection by contact. However, I suggest you take proper precautions.

I have the following suggestions for you-

1. Do not take over-the-counter (OTC) pills; instead, get a proper diagnosis of fever and treat it.

2. You must maintain a temperature chart.

3. You must eat a healthy, balanced, and nutritional diet.

4. You must drink plenty of fluids.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
