Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Earlier, I was sad without reason and so I started crying. I cried for 35 to 45 minutes and then I stopped it. After that, I had a light floaty feeling. I felt that I am high. I am still feeling it. I started feeling that my legs are weak and so I started stretching them. Then I started rolling and placed my legs in the air. After that, I started flipping. Previously, I was using marijuana. Everything sounds distant and I feel like I am not really here. It seems like inside of my body is seeing things from inside. I do not know how to explain it. Everything sounds distant. Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

From your description, it seems that you had a depersonalization-derealisation experience. It made you feel unreal and distant. It occurs to anyone while feeling stressed and sad. These are not always a cause for concern. But if you experience this issue again and again, then discuss this with your parents and consult the doctor. If you are emotionally disturbed, then kindly have an open talk with your parents or family or friends. They can understand you and support you. Relax by doing exercise, sleep well and stay connected with supportive people. If your problems are severe and persistent, then consult your doctor for counseling.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
