Hi doctor,
Six days ago, I took Viagra recreationally for the first time. I thought doing it once would not affect me. Then four days ago, I took Kamagra jelly without knowing what it was. This was also my first time taking it. Now, I feel like I have a problem maintaining a hard-on erection. Is this a possible side effect? Can you become impotent permanently from taking Kamagra and Viagra once? Would pills cause you to become impotent from doing it twice? I am currently taking Arcoxia 120 mg from a sports injury. I hurt my lower back five days ago at the gym and have taken a muscle relaxant. Please help.

Please note that Viagra (Slidenafil) stays in the blood only for four to six hours, and as you took the other medication more than 48 hours later, there should be no question about interaction. The other point is that Kamagra (Slidenafil) tablets are not licensed, so the proper ingredient, efficacy, or side effect is unknown. But it should also be washed away from the body within hours. So, therefore, I do not think your erectile dysfunction is caused by it. Stress is a significant factor for erectile dysfunction, and hormones should be assessed. I suggest you do a testosterone level assessment and regular exercise, then follow up with test results.

Is it possible to get erectile dysfunction from an STI contracted a week ago? (I have not tested for an STI, but I am just trying to figure out if this is a possibility).

There is no relationship between STD (sexually transmitted infection) and erectile dysfunction. STD is sometimes symptomatic for pain, burning urination, urethral discharge, and sometimes no symptoms; hence screening is advised. But erectile dysfunction is not related to it.
