I do not get erections, and I have low sex drive. Please help.

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 88 kg and 5.6 feet tall. I have a small penis of 4 inches, and it is soft. I do not get erections, and I have low sex drive. After I urinate, some urine keeps dribbling from my penis. My penis stays soft and shrunken. Kindly help. I have never had sex, as I am ashamed of my penis size. I have no confidence at all. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Erectile dysfunction is of two types, organic and functional (psychogenic). If you never have had erection in the past and do not feel early morning erections, then I suggest you visit an endocrinologist. Most likely, the cause is subnormal levels of testosterone. If you have erection while watching porn or have had erection in early morning hours the problem is psychogenic, then it is primarily because of subconscious fear of intimacy and feeling of guilt and shame about sex. Keeping in view the symptoms described by you, I suggest you have your hormonal profile done and consult an endocrinologist.

Regards.
