Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

When I wake up in the morning, my mouth is full of saliva. I cannot swallow it so I have to spit it. After brushing, this problem goes off, but before brushing, saliva comes again and again. I am suffering from these problems for two years. It smells bad. What causes it? How to stop it?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Early in the morning, secretions can occur but if after brushing it does not persist, then no need to worry. Your local tooth should be examined to check any periodontitis like problem if present. Drink more water. At night, make a habit of brushing teeth before sleeping. Take care. Regards.
