Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I masturbate a lot, sometimes even twice a day for almost a year. I feel short-term memory loss, weakness, erection problems, and laziness. Soon after ejaculation, I feel nervous, guilty, and ashamed to do it again. It is affecting my mental health badly. But yet I am addicted to it. Kindly help me to get rid of this curse.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern. Masturbation is normal, ninety-five percent of males do it. It is just another way of having sex without a partner. It is a good practice, it benefits the following:

1. It helps to relieve stress.

2. Boosts mood.

3. Improves sleep.

4. Helps to prevent depression and anxiety.

5. Relaxes the mind of a person.

6. Relieves pain and muscle cramps.

7. Relieves the sexual tension.

8. Improves the confidence of a person.

9. Allows one to have better sex.

10. Helps the person understand his needs and desires.

11. In females masturbation increases vaginal blood flow.

Masturbation will not harm your penis, having it two to three times a week is not an issue, more than that can cause tiredness, loss of concentration, sense of infertility. The ways to reduce masturbation are:

1. Sex education.

2. Physical exercises.

3. Sleep adjustment.

4. Quality of sleep.

5. Healthy and balanced diet.

6. Programming for leisure time.

7. Development of spirituality.

8. Taking a cold bath.

For tiredness or a decrease in strength, I suggest using,

1. Capsule Astymin forte (Valine, Arginine, Methionine, Lysine) once a morning.

2. Tab Shelcal (Calcium and vitamin D3)once a night after food for thirty days. I hope I have cleared all your doubts.

Thank you.
