Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 27-year-old. I want to know how exercise helps to maintain better mental health. I feel better when I include walking as a regular morning routine but when I do not walk, I do not feel better. I want to understand how walking gives me that energy. Is it right to think this way? Or is it just my mind that makes me think that walking helps me? Is there any research to support this? Kindly let me know.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
We are elated to have you on board at icliniq.
Walking is the best therapy for physical and mental well-being. With exercise, endorphins are released from the brain. Endorphins are the happy hormones. With exercise, adrenaline is also released which gives an exciting and happy feeling by enhancing serotonin release because of all activities. So, start exercising daily for 45 minutes. Within three months, you will see the results.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
