Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Recently I got to know that I have a -0.75 D (right eye) and -0.25 D (left eye) number in my eyes (spherical) and got prescribed glasses. But even after wearing glasses, I experience terrible headaches and muscle tension around my eye. So I stopped wearing glasses. My vision without glasses is fine, but I have blurred vision in my right eye, which is dry and slightly heavy. Also, I do not want to wear glasses. Will this worsen my eyesight? Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Glasses help to see clearly. Whether you wear glasses or not, power becomes stable at 18 to 21 years old. As your age is 18, your power may increase a little gradually. I suggest you to reduce your stress. Try cold compress on your eyes. Restrict the use of mobile and laptops. Use a lubricating eyedrop after consulting your doctor. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
