Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a fever with cold and headache from yesterday morning. There are no other symptoms. I took one Dolo tablet yesterday. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You are suffering from viral flu. I would suggest the following medications to be taken for five days:

1) Tablet Mahacef CV 325mg (Cefixime and Clavulanic acid) twice daily.

2) Tablet Sinarest (Chlorpheniramine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine) one tablet twice daily

3) Tablet Dazit M (Desloratadine, Montelukast) one tablet at night.

4) Nasal drops Otrivin (Oxymetazoline hydrochloride) two drops thrice daily in both nostrils.

5) Tablet Naprosyn (Naproxen) 500 mg (in case of headache only).

You will see improvement within two days. If your symptoms do not resolve within three days, we will get a covid test done. However, the chances of covid are significantly less. Meanwhile, I suggest you stay at a safe distance from your family for the next five days as both covid and seasonal viral flu are easily transmissible.

I hope this helps.

Kindly revert in case of further queries.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
