It is a fungal infection. Stop using Candid-B (Beclomethasone topical and Clotrimazole topical) cream. Please say about the severity and the duration of the disease. Please mention about your age and marital status.

Thank you for consulting me.

You can always reach me at icliniq.com.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I am married. I have the infection for a month. It is not severe. But it is there even after taking tablet Forcan. I am attaching the picture of the affected area. Do I need some test? Please suggest.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read and understand your concern.

I have gone through the attachment (attachment removed to protect patient identity). The condition is tinea cruris (fungal infection). You can take tablet Sebifin 250 mg (Terbinafine) once daily in the morning after breakfast. Take tablet Teczine 5 mg (Levocetirizine) once daily at night. Apply Lullifin cream (Luliconazole) twice daily. Continue these medications for three weeks and revert after three weeks. Keep the area dry as it can recur due to sweat. Do not share clothes.

Looking forward to your response in order to help you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I am using Keto soap. Is it fine?

I have used Lulican cream but it has become red and sore. Please suggest some other cream. I have attached the photo for your reference.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read and understand your concern.

It is due to the side effect of using candid B cream and not Lulican.

Looking forward to your response in order to help you.

Thank you.
