Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Is there a way to close the gap between the two front teeth without braces, and if so, how long would it take?
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
If the gap is very mild, we can go for a composite build-up which will be done in a single appointment. Even appliances with a split labial bow or finger springs can be used.
But we need to clinically examine you along with X-rays like OPG (orthopantomography) and lateral cephalometry to give the proper diagnosis and treatment plan. If none of the above methods is possible, then you will have to go for braces which will take one to one and a half years, based on the condition of your teeth and jaws.
Do not worry. Please send a picture of your teeth and the X-rays so I can guide you further. Or you can consult your dentist directly and discuss the treatment plan.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
