Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 22-year-old female. I have been complaining of several GIT problems for the last two years, such as bloating, burping, epigastric discomfort, nausea, abdominal discomfort, and constipation most of the time, and I am always tired. In addition, I cannot memorize or remember things easily, and now I have low vitamin B12, and my ferritin is getting low too. So currently, I am taking vitamin B12, vitamin D, and iron. Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Most probably, it is a case of acidity and gastritis.
1. You should avoid a fatty, oily, and spicy diet.
2. Have a walk after having food instead of taking a rest.
3. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals.
4. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress.
5. Eat lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits.
6. Avoid smoking and alcohol, if any.
7. Go for daily walking and jogging.
I suggest taking tablet PAN DSR (Domperidone and Pantoprazole) 40 mg or Esomeprazole and Domperidone combination before breakfast once a day for two weeks. After that, for immediate pain relief, you can have antispasmodic like tablet Dicyclomine 20 or Hyoscine 10 mg whenever needed up to three times a day. First, however, please consult a physician, discuss with them and start taking the medications with their consent.
Hope this helps. Get back if you have any doubts.
Thank you and take care.
