Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

One and half years back, I faced hair fall, maybe after medication for dengue. Then the doctor suggested Hair fact fluence for two months, which worked. After that, my hair stopped falling, and it was normal. However, after five to six months, the hair started falling again, so I visited a dermatologist for treatment. He informed me it was telogen which may cure within six months. As prescribed by the doctor, I took different medicines but saw no difference, and the hair kept falling, so I visited another dermatologist. The doctor has given me Tugain (minoxidil) 10 %, Extend Forte, Proanagen solution, and Finpecia. I lose hair mainly during baths when hair is wet, maybe due to thin hair. And I am also facing dandruff. Will the hair fall stop after a specific time?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

For dandruff, mix Betamethasone lotion with liquid paraffin in equal amounts, apply over the scalp two to three times a week, and wash in the morning.

For hair loss, you have been given right treatment and it always takes some time.

Now you are given treatment for male pattern loss, which is sometimes difficult to control due to hormonal treatment.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.
