Kindly tell me the treatment for frizzy chemically treated hair with hair fall.

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My hair is breaking recently a lot on the top. It is quite embarrassing. I use sulfate free shampoo and mine is chemically treated hair. Hair is so frizzy. What is the solution?

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

Chemical treatment is a common cause of hair brittleness as it breaks disulfide bonds that gives strength to hair. This would take some week's time to resolve. I suggest you take an oral Biotin supplement like tablet Revilus (Procapil) once a day for six months. In addition, I suggest you use a serum Q-sera serum. Use it on scalp skin, twice daily. Take care.

Thank you for consulting me.

You can always reach me at icliniq.com.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I have a very sensitive skin too with an untoned tanned face. Would you recommend any products?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read and understand your concern.

Use a sunscreen, throughout the day. At night you may use Melaglow rich cream (Liquorice extract, Arbutin, Niacinamide, Kojic acid). Take care.

Looking forward to your response in order to help you.

Thank you.
