Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have pain in the left side of my brain. I could not sleep properly. The middle part is very sensitive when I touch it to relieve pain. Please help me to know my condition and what I could do immediately to avoid further pain and prevention before I reach the doctor.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I thoroughly read your query and understand your concern.

I would like to know further details about your problem:

Since when did you start to have headaches? In which areas of your head do you feel that headache, and from where did it start? What kind of headache is this? Is there heaviness, throbbing, stretching, bursting, shooting pain, electric current-like pain, or some other kind? Is it severe, moderate, or mild? Is the headache episodic only, or is there some kind of persistent headache also? If episodic headache, how long does one episode last (from onset to complete relief without medication)? How frequent were these headache episodes before and now? How many times a week? Do you feel any vomiting or feeling of vomiting, watering from the eye, redness in the eye, or nasal congestion during a headache? How is your day today mood? How is your sleep? How is your vision? Have you noticed any trigger factors for this headache? Have you ever undergone any tests for this headache? Have you ever taken or taken any medications for this headache?

I suggest you do the following investigations:

MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) of the brain and ophthalmology examination to look for refraction, intraocular pressure, or fundus.

Revert with the above-mentioned information for better understanding and further judgment.

Regards.
