Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am currently experiencing severe mental depression. Initially, everything seemed to be going well in my relationship for the first few months. However, over time, things started to change and my partner began treating me rudely. Initially, I managed to cope with it, but lately, he has been emphasizing the differences between us, and this behavior has been increasing. Although he does show some care, I am uncertain about moving forward, and it feels nearly impossible for me to do so. These issues have been causing me great mental anguish, impacting my studies, sleep, and overall mental and physical well-being since entering this relationship. I am seeking advice on what I should do in this situation. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to iCliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

During the initial months after a breakup, it is common to experience adjustment difficulties. Typically, these issues resolve over time. It is advisable to take a break and engage in new activities, such as taking a trip or pursuing something you've always wanted to do. Continuously pleading with your ex-partner will likely worsen the situation. It is important to remember that the world has numerous possibilities, and this is just a temporary phase. If you find it particularly challenging, I suggest you consider taking the tablet Nexito (Escitalopram and Clonazepam)10 mg in the morning, along with 0.25 mg Clonazepam at night, for a period of four weeks to help resolve the issue.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
