Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My friend tried inserting my penis into his anal. His anal was tight, and I could not penetrate. After a week of that event, I got a fungal-like infection that appears as white substances and red spots on my penis. I consulted a skin doctor and underwent treatment. However, according to my friends, even in the absence of penetration, rectal secretions can still transmit HIV. Are rectal fluid present in the anal entrance? Is this infection on the penis a symptom of HIV? My friend donated blood three months before having sex; he did not engage in sexual activity after. He is confident that he is HIV-negative. I sometimes get muscle pain throughout my body due to stress, and the pain has reduced recently. Sometimes I experience underarm or leg pain with a sudden electric pulse in the penis. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

Given that the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is spread by blood, an anal encounter with an HIV-positive person or one where a bleeding fissure could result in HIV transmission. If there is unprotected sexual activity with several partners, an STD (sexually transmitted disease) may spread. If you are not sure of the HIV status of your partner, then get yourself tested for the same. Secondly, Candidal balanitis symptoms are itching and burning sensation over the glans with a recurrent collection of white substance. It also can be transmitted from one partner to the other.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.
