Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been taking uric acid medications for a long time now. Recently, I got my blood tests done. Please check my attached laboratory report and let me know of any issues or concerns. I had stopped taking the medications ten days before going for the test. Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

As per your report (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), your uric acid levels are slightly raised. Testosterone level and lymphocytes percentage are also slightly raised. Also answer me are you taking any medicine now? Are you doing exercises regularly? Do you have any health issues at present?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had been taking the tablet Allopurinol and stopped taking it ten days before going for the tests. I exercise regularly. I run five times a week. What do high testosterone and high lymphocytes mean? Thank you.

Answered by Dr. Rajesh Jain

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

A slight rise in testosterone without any supplements or testosterone injection is common. The rise in lymphocytes seems to be due to worms, which is common. You can take the tablets Ivermectin and Albendazole once daily for three months. For uric acid, avoid a high protein diet. Continue exercises daily. Take salads and fruits more. Take plenty of water daily. Take the tablet Allopurinol twice daily for three weeks. Send me a follow-up after three weeks. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
